CAN remote input / output modules


 

Description

Obrázok CIO modules for  CAN bus are passive input/output modules based on PCA82C150 chip from Philips.  They are used for increasing of NLC-3 input/output number or as inputs and outputs of VTT-2, VTT-3 terminals end NDS intelligent panel meter. They also can be used by  controllers from other producers, which are able to communicate by Philips SLIO controllers.

 CIO modules are inbuilt in plastic housing for DIN rail from Weidmuller with metal top cover. Input circuits, logic circuits and communication circuits are galvanically decoupled. Binary inputs are hardware filtered - the minimum registered pulse length is 3 millseconds. Modules are powered by 24 V DC. Module address is selected by jumper under top cover. The maximum number of CIO modules at one CAN bus segment  is 16. Maximum baud rate for CAN bus with implemented CIO modules is 125 kbit/sec.
